The government has developed the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 (POCInt).

Be devoted 3.941,2 million co-financed with FEDER funds to improve the competitiveness Spanish, through support to Research, development and innovation, ICT and SMEs. The program searches for the internationalization of the company and encourage productive investment.

The POCInt has three lines of action:

• Telematic goal I D i: Reaching R & D on GDP OF 2% in 2020. It will go for it almost 2.805 million ERDF grant . In this line you can distinguish between executed by the public sector (focused on strengthening research groups and improve the equipment of these) and executed by agents of the corporate sector to incorporate innovative technologies, so encouraging research of R & D is oriented towards market needs.
• Objective ICT telematic: The 100% of the Spanish population has network coverage of at least 30Mbps and around 50% services with higher speed 100Mbps. Try to promote digital economy, by implementing solutions based on the use of ICT. Will be allocated a total of 821,4 million from the ERDF.
• Objective telematic SMEs: Expand the export capacity of Spanish SMEs, its capacity for innovation and productive investment, improving their competitiveness. This axis focuses on three key aspects; the internationalization of SMEs, the promotion of entrepreneurship and business creation, and finally access to funding to improve the industrial fabric. Will be allocated a total of 314,8 million from the ERDF.
